Evaluation
For my assignment I have had to create a website. This involves things that I am obsessed with such as cartoons and animations to show what I love. It also shows how obsessed I am with some of these.
The research that I had to do to create my websites was to research different websites. I did this by researching different styles of websites to get a flavour of which one I could use for my final website. This was also so I could see which style I preferred to use, and the layout that I felt fitted my websites. I used the same layout for both of my websites- the illustrator one because I felt that it fitted my animation and cartoon website. It showed different people different illustrations on the website that I felt worked.
The research that I found most helpful with creating my website was my further research. This was because I could use it to create my website. I knew which research worked better for my website. My secondary research showed the style that it looked like once on a website which I liked. I also found this helpful because it showed that it fitted my website perfectly. Also my general research shows different websites using their own work. How it is layed out. The colours that my website showed was bright colours due to cartoons. This showed that cartoons are my big influence in the future from my websites of bright colours. It also showed that I don't like black and white images that I preferred coloured ones due to my website.
With the fact that I am cartoon obsessed I have done a cartoon website to show this. Also I have two many cartoon obsessions that it has to go on a separate page. The things that I struggled with my website was that I couldn't remember my password for my wix account. This caused me to create more than one website and account to something that I wouldn't forget.I have added some lego bricks in the background to show that my website is to do with animations. I haven't created the background myself but I have created the rest of the images I did get annoyed with this because my website wouldn't do what it to do. Also another problem that I had with my website was that I had to do a paragraph again because I lost my paragraph on my website was annoying. The way that I solved this was that I retyped the paragraph again and faster. I even did it slightly faster to add my problem.
My graphics went well because I used my techniques from Adobe Illustrator. The way that I created my graphic pieces of work was by taking an existing image. Then what I did was draw around the existing image changing some of the graphics slightly such as missing out the pillow on one of my cartoons. I then coloured in my graphic characters using adobe illustrator- the blot tool. I like the way that my characters has been created. I think that I used my own technique in a way to create the fantastic websites that I did.
My favourite website that I made was both of them. I can't choose one because I love them both. Both of my websites share my interests in the future which I am happy with. I used my own piece of work for one of my websites- from YouTube to create the best for my website. Also this shows my interests when I am at home aswell as at college. I am animation and cartoon mad and obsessed which is why I created multiply websites. This was to share both my interests through more than one website.
The website that I used with my websites is wix.com. This was the website to use to create a new website. I enjoyed using wix. I feel as though I knew what I was doing with techniques that the website uses. The problems that I felt that I had with my website is that it didn't always respond to the way that I wanted it to respond. For my website I have used a lego figure to show that I have done an animation website. The lego figure is to show that I like to animate using different toys including lego. It also shows that I haven't taken my own lego photo, it shows that I have taken a photo from the internet to show the lego part of the website which I like.
If I was to do this website again I wouldn't change that much. The only thing that I would change is the background to my own background to make it look like my own work. At the moment it doesn't look like my own piece of work otherwise. Overall I like my website. I feel as though the only thing that I would change if I had to do it again would be the lettering/title at the top of the page. This is because it didn't turn out the way that I wanted it to. Also it isn't as bright as it could be if I was to improve my website. I wouldn't change anything else because I like the rest of my website.
The benefits of using interactive media for a portfolio is that you can never loose a piece of work online but you could if it is on paper. Also work on the internet can never be lost. It will also be there all the time. Other people can see your work and comment for improvements instead of people who you are comftable with. However the disadvantages of putting your work online is that people could be mean about it. For instant they could decide to accidently delete your own work or be mean.

Website character
1. The Bottom image is the image that I have found on the internet that I would think would work well for my website. The top image is my version of the bottom image but using my own styles. I have used adobe illustrator to copy the bottom image to create my version of the person. The top image shows the improvement that I have completed using the different tools to create a new website. The website is to do with cartoons so I have used some cartoon girls/people including my own work to show what the website is showing. It also shows that I am a huge fan, which I am of cartoons. It highlights my big influence for the future of my dream that I would like to do as a job, my first choice. I have also adapted the girl for my website by adding some colour to the image, such as a pink top and black trousers to indicate the difference between the original and the illustrated version. I have made the top image slightly different to the bottom image to show that it is the way that I would like the image for my website. It fits perfectly well with my website because it shows one of the main characters. I have also sued my own image that I have drawn for the background on the main front page to show what the website is about. Creative webiste- own style , website x1
I have slightly changed my background style from my research. I have done this because I feel the style fits my future dream. My future dream is to become a cartoon artist because I am obsessed with cartoons. I have chosen this style instead because of the bottom pictures that look like cartoons to me.

This could be part of the website that I have taken into account because it shows a tutorial of how to draw a cartoon, using fun to draw. I like this YouTube video because it shows how simple a cartoon can be for beginners. This is how the cartoon artist has seen the world which other people can link to such as myself. It also gives the before and after the drawing which I like a lot. From other videos it shows the development between the simple images and the detailed , professional style drawings.
I have designed some cartoons for my cartoon website. I have done this to see what drawings I prefer/like the best. Also I have designed some cartoons to see which ones work better a website and which ones don't work as well. I think that the website will work well because it shows my 3 major future dreams. I am in the middle of designing the websites because I have thought about the fine detail for a great result. I would like people to see what I see them as and why I see them like that to
show that every-one is special.

This is the detailed version of my original drawing that I have posted on face book. This is the original drawing of my own. My primary research that I have used to create the top image. I have left out all of the rough drawings to add more effect to the top one, to make it look more like a pen drawing. I prefer the top image because I have used my graphic skills to create this amazing image. The top image shows the development with me using adobe Illustrator rather than me doing a simple quick sketch. The top image shows the high quality of the bottom original style. As you can see I have taken my time using the top photo to create the better version of the bottom photo. I have used a graphic style to show that I can use my techniques on using graphics.

This is the link to my first website that I have made. I have made a website to do with cartoons because I love them so much. I think that making a website to do with cartoons is a good idea of mine because it gives people the chance to see what I like doing in my spare time(leisure). I have used my graphic skills to make some of my cartoons look more professional then they do on paper. I like my final result. All I need to add to this website are some of my own cartoons to show people how I draw. I feel like this website is persuasive with the way that I have added my cartoon girl for the background. It shows that the website is a cartoon one straight away with the cartoon girl. The advice that I got to improve my website is to colour in my cartoon girl to make her look better. The black and white version doesn't look as good as the coloured version because most websites have coloured graphics compared to my original design for my website. I have created a cartoon website because I adore cartoons. I haven't added any of my own cartoons yet but I think I will to show people my style on drawing. The graphics that I have used have worked well because it shows that I have used the graphic lesson well. My other final website- cartoon obsessed one. I have a cartoon mind so I can't not love cartoons. It is my dream job when I am older. I want to do it for the rets of my life. This website shows what I can do. It also shows how much cartoon crazy I am. I have created 2 websites because I cannot leave my cartoon obsession out of a website. Research- Creative Media
1. The themes that can be seen in this website design is the fact that it is very simple. There isn't any complication in the making of this website. I like the fact that this website has very simple drawings. I also like the illustrator's drawings due to the detail and the way that the graphics have been drawn. The photos are the things that stand out the most on the page. This is because this the photos use bold colours to outline the main part of the image. The photos is the designers work because of the detail of the photos/images. I would use this design for a website for the back of the website. This is because of the way that the photos have been placed for the website design. The colours of the website makes me want to use it for my website. The colours give away the brightness and the boldness which I adore. I could put information underneath the images making people wanting to read the website with this images. I would like to use this for the front of my website also because of the fact that they is a white background/ plain that needs something placing on it. The images would also show what the website is about due to the images that are clearly shown without any information. It wouldn't be in black and white which this image shows, it would be in colour to show the key point of the information/website.

The themes that can be seen with this website is showing something to do with computers. This background describes without any information what the website could be about. It looks as though there is a 3d effect looking down from the page because of the computer. I like this design because it looks as though you are looking down onto the computers from a birds point of view. I feel as though I am inside in the website because of the way that the design has been made using a clever technique. I could use this part for my website because of the fact that it covers the whole background. This would get my point across for my website. The photo looks very real because of the the detail on the photo. I feel this would work very well with my website. The colours that this design uses shows how well it works with the Hello background. This photo looks like the designers photo because of the way that they have captured the detail in the computer. I feel this could be effective because of the way that the computer screen is half on the page and half off the page. It also feels like you are in the computer screen because of the way that it is placed on the screen. The information would go just below or even on top of the computer screen to give it the feeling of a website.

The themes that can be seen with this website is a graphic creative style. Maybe the theme can be seen as an animation type theme due to the creativity of the website. This would be used for the middle or the back of the website due to the fact that it is very colourful and bright. I would use this part of the website and I would have it on the right hand side of the page to indicate and show how you can contact the website. The colours that this design uses shows how bright the website would be like if this part of the website was to be used. I like this design because I feel as though it would fit against the other two website designs which I like the look of. The first website design would fit perfectly against this website because of the colours that both the websites use. Also all three of the website designs look as though they all join together with the colour theme. All three of the designs have a similar design, story behind each website. The bottom part of the website fits the theme better then the rest of this website design. The top part of this design is the designers work with the rest of it being just a colour scheme that has been used to create a more interesting design to show what the final website would look like.
For this project the template that I have chosen over the other two
is the first one. This is because it is the most simple design to make a website from. Also I prefer this one because it is the one design that would work well as a website but the other two might not work as well as this one. I feel as though this first website design is very simple. The images make the website more interesting to look at because there isn't any writing blocking the images. Also I have chosen this design then the other two because of the bold colours that has been used to make it stand out to the audience who might see this website. The first website in my opinion seems a lot easier to do a website on because of the bold colours that has been used to create the website. The images on this website reflect/ fit the website which is what I would like for the website that I would like to create. This is my favourite template out of the three that I have looked at because I feel this would suit to be made into a website easier then the other two websites that I have looked at.

This is my first editing of a website using wix.com. I have tried to create an interesting beginning part of the website which has worked but it hasn't. The thing that hasn't worked well with this website is that I have just designed what I feel would work with the layout of the website that I have used. I like my design because I have tried to create using a very cool design. The thing that I don't think went well would be the overall design. This is because I haven't done this to the best of my ability due to me rushing a little bit throughout the process. I have tried to create an animated part for the design that I have designed using my editing skills. This hasn't really worked because it doesn't show my animation part to my website which I am slightly annoyed about. I thought that my website would have worked a lot better then the overall design so far. If I had some more time I would take even more time to see if I can create the animation part to the website a lot better. I like the background colour that I have used whilst I was creating the website because it shows that I have thought about my design before creating it. I like the design because the graphics on the background and the images clash together in a very interesting way. It doesn't clash together to bad, they kind of fit each other perfectly. I like the fact that I have made the images bold to show what they look like beyond the image which works very well. The website design that I have created looks 3d with the way that I have used the black background to create the 3d effect. This works very well because you can clearly see the sort of pop art work. On my design I haven't added any titles or any text yet which I feel I should add. I haven't added any text at the moment because I wanted to show my background parts first before I carry on editing my design/website.  |
Research
1. The themes that can be seen in the website design is a brick style background. This shows how creative the website designer has made their website. The bricks on the background also stand out because they are very colourful. The way that it emerges into the whole website is impressive and amazing. I think that it is the designers work of photography with the way that they have captured the brick wall. I feel like the artist has taken a great photo to describe and show some detail in the brick wall to give it some life. The fine detail such as the crack on the brick wall shows how realistic the whole piece is. The colour of the brick wall is very realistic because of the detail that ahs been carefully thought about whilst trying to capture this particular shot. I think that there is a message to do with this photo of a person climbing through the cracks on the wall with the detail carefully considered. The website uses lots of different artists put together with the different kinds of work, to show the different side to the website. It is also a sort of digital media because of the clear photo of the brick wall giving this part of the information away. The parts/ things that work well on this website is the different artists and their work. The things that don't work as well is the bottom of the website page. Also another part of the website that doesn't work well is the fact that the brick wall doesn't cover the whole page. I feel as though it should cover the whole page because the website looks odd and lonely without it. The website layout compliment that the artists use for their work is that they is more then one artist's work on the same page. It is combined with lots of different artists all using the same website. The website doesn't particular show the artists style throughout their work, but it does show their creative skills throughout the website with the different artists creativity. The things that I like about the website is the creativity that has been used to create the website, for the different artists and the way they see their work. The layout that has been used for the website is like a normal website with the difference of having the artist and some of the information behind each of their pieces of work. Images have been used only to describe each photo from the different artists using their own opinion, because I feel/think that it is important to show your feelings towards the website. I also like the fact that quite a bit of information has been used to create this amazing website.

The only difference between this website and a normal website is the fact that this website has slightly more detail. There isn't a particular background for this website compared to the previous one that I looked at. There is a lot of photos/ images towards the top of the website showing that it is the main page. The website has a search box where you can search things that isn't normally already on the website. The things that stand out on the page the most is the fact that the website is to do with embroidery. It shows just how clever the artist has made the website into something special to them. I like the photos that pop up towards the top of the page because they indicate the main/ important part of the website that people mostly see al the time. I like the fact that there is a bit on the website where you can physically connect to face book. I feel like the website is mostly photos from the artist own work giving their own opinion and work to the website. This gives the impression that the artist prefers sewing compared to a normal website. This gives the feeling that the artist prefers photography and sewing compared to the other media from their website work. The things on the website that work well is the fact that you can connect with any website on the right hand side of the page. It gives and shows the impression that the audience can find out more information by using the different websites that is linked to the website. Other things that have worked well with the website is the fact that there is a search box so the audience can search anything that they would like to. Also another thing that has worked well is the different links to different parts of the website. This works well because it shows more information to the website that isn't always available on other websites. The things that haven't worked as well on the website is advert to do with Daz. This is because you wouldn't see an advert for something that isn't relevant to the general website. The website layout has worked well because it show what a website should and shouldn't look like. It uses links towards the top of the page giving the website that feeling that it should be a website. The website does fit the style that matches their work because it shows their opinion on what they prefer to do a website about. This gives the reader/ audience the information of what the artist likes to do in their spare time and how they do it. The things that I like is the fact that it looks like a normal website. I also like the fact that you can click on each section of the website to see what each section of the website is on about to give the information required. The website shows and highlights the most important parts of the website compared tot he rest of it which is the part of the website that people need to know about compared to what they don't need to know about.

3. The themes that can be seen in the website is a normal website with a difference. The thing that isn't normal about this website is the way that the information has been displayed. Not very much information has been captured whilst making this website. The website has mainly been invaded by photos. The things that can be seen in the website design is lots of photos that is supposed to represent the very few bits of information that is used in the website. The things that stand out on the page the most is the photos that has been taken. This is because they have clearly been chosen to fit the information on the website. I feel as though the photos are the designers work but in their own opinion and not some-one else's opinion. The photos on this website is mainly aimed at girls but it can be aimed for the odd boy that likes the website, which isn't as often as girls do. The designer categories their work by photography. Some of the photos that have been used for this website are more real life like compared to the other websites that I have looked at. I feel like the photos fit the media/page very well with the odd bizarre image. The things that worked well with the website is the fact that a bit of information has been used to create this website. Also the photos have worked well with the website because they are very relevant to the website which I like. The colours that the website used is black and white because I think that the artist has purposely made it that to get their point across. The things that don't work well with this website is that the website doesn't use that much information which doesn't make the website as appealing as it should be. If the website was to be improved I think that there should be more information to go with the photos instead of what it looks like now. The website that the layout uses isn't a very good one. This is because of the way that the information has been layed out, which isn't like a normal website at all. The website style does fit the style in a very bizarre way. It fits the style well but not as well as it probably could do. The thing that I like about the website is the photos at the top of the page. This is because they have been created in a style that a website follows. Also I like this website because of the fact that the photos at the top are in a scroll type way which shows what a website should/does look like which I like. I feel like this has worked well with the website because it is in the website style of the artist that I am happy/impressed with.

The only difference between this website and a normal website is the fact that this website has slightly more detail. There isn't a particular background for this website compared to the previous one that I looked at. There is a lot of photos/ images towards the top of the website showing that it is the main page. I like the photos that pop up towards the top of the page because they indicate the main/ important part of the website that people mostly see al the time. I like the fact that there is a bit on the website where you can physically connect to face book. I feel like the website is mostly photos from the artist own work giving their own opinion and work to the website. In this case the website is to do with embroidery which has been clearly shown by a photo to do with fashion. The designer categories their work by sewing and photography. This gives the impression that the artist prefers sewing compared to a normal website. This gives the feeling that the artist prefers photography and sewing compared to the other media from their website work. The things on the website that work well is the fact that you can connect with any website on the right hand side of the page. It gives and shows the impression that the audience can find out more information by using the different websites that is linked to the website. Other things that have worked well with the website is the fact that there is a search box so the audience can search anything that they would like to. Also another thing that has worked well is the different links to different parts of the website. This works well because it shows more information to the website that isn't always available on other websites. The things that haven't worked as well on the website is advert to do with Daz. This is because you wouldn't see an advert for something that isn't relevant to the general website. The website layout has worked well because it show what a website should and shouldn't look like. It uses links towards the top of the page giving the website that feeling that it should be a website. The website does fit the style that matches their work because it shows their opinion on what they prefer to do a website about. This gives the reader/ audience the information of what the artist likes to do in their spare time and how they do it. The things that I like is the fact that it looks like a normal website. I also like the fact that you can click on each section of the website to see what each section of the website is on about to give the information required. The website shows and highlights the most important parts of the website compared tot he rest of it which is the part of the website that people need to know about compared to what they don't need to know about.

3. The themes that can be seen in the website is a normal website with a difference. The thing that isn't normal about this website is the way that the information has been displayed. Not very much information has been captured whilst making this website. The website has mainly been invaded by photos. The things that can be seen in the website design is lots of photos that is supposed to represent the very few bits of information that is used in the website. The things that stand out on the page the most is the photos that has been taken. This is because they have clearly been chosen to fit the information on the website. I feel as though the photos are the designers work but in their own opinion and not some-one else's opinion. The photos on this website is mainly aimed at girls but it can be aimed for the odd boy that likes the website, which isn't as often as girls do. The designer categories their work by photography. Some of the photos that have been used for this website are more real life like compared to the other websites that I have looked at. I feel like the photos fit the media/page very well with the odd bizarre image. The things that worked well with the website is the fact that a bit of information has been used to create this website. Also the photos have worked well with the website because they are very relevant to the website which I like. The colours that the website used is black and white because I think that the artist has purposely made it that to get their point across. The things that don't work well with this website is that the website doesn't use that much information which doesn't make the website as appealing as it should be. If the website was to be improved I think that there should be more information to go with the photos instead of what it looks like now. The website that the layout uses isn't a very good one. This is because of the way that the information has been layed out, which isn't like a normal website at all. The website style does fit the style in a very bizarre way. It fits the style well but not as well as it probably could do. The thing that I like about the website is the photos at the top of the page. This is because they have been created in a style that a website follows. Also I like this website because of the fact that the photos at the top are in a scroll type way which shows what a website should/does look like which I like. I feel like this has worked well with the website because it is in the website style of the artist that I am happy/impressed with.
